Corporate Sponsorship: Sponsors provide essential support to achieving the mission of the non-profit Saltwater Film Society of Midcoast Maine: its commitment to building community and downtown vitalization through appreciation of and education about cinema.

The benefits and types of sponsorship provide the opportunity to participate in many ways. The following information provides an overview of our sponsorship strategy.

1. Special programs will be scheduled 3 times each year. These programs include movies and related activities.
2. Although our programs are designed with a budget that covers expenses via ticket sales. Sponsorship helps defray expenses such as the following:
• Operating expenses
• Unplanned shortfalls
• Future programming
3. Promotional Activities: Your company's logo will be displayed on the following:
• Movie trailers, to be shown with Strand Theatre previews for one month prior to each SFS event. Trailers can viewed on the trailers on this website. (Watch them here.)
• Posters: Displayed throughout the Midcoast area at least three weeks prior to each SFS special program.
• Placement on the Saltwater Film Society website.
• Public Relations: Mention as appropriate in media promotions and press releases.
• Participation in related activities (e.g., Summer Solstice in Rockland, presentations at the Rockland Public Library).
4. The Saltwater Film Society of Midcoast Maine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Sponsorships are tax-deductible charitable donations.

Premiere Series Sponsor: $500

• Spans one year of programming
• Enhanced Logo placement on all marketing collateral (trailer, posters, website, programs, etc.)
• One per industry (e.g., one restaurant, one bookstore, one paint store, etc.)
• Email notice of upcoming events
• Mention in PR as appropriate
• Acknowledgement from podium
• 6 gratis tickets per event

Series Sponsor: $300

• Spans one year of programming (special events and MondayMovieTalk)
• Logo placement on all marketing collateral (trailer, posters, website, programs, etc.)
• Email notice of upcoming events
• 4 gratis tickets per event

In-Kind Sponsor: Dollar equivalent determines the benefits associated with the above levels.
